Way Out There

Wow! I haven't posted in a while....

I think my laziness is beginning to catch up with me. Luckily, I'm still out of school, so I only miss stupid things, well not you blog (you're far from stupid).

Let's C....Hmmm...

Nothings really been going on with me. But, last week I went to Times Square ( in new York)!!! I loved it, no wonder people live there. Everything about that place appeals to me. Of course, I could never live there. Frankly, the people scare me. They move so fast and if you don't too, they hurt you. I saw about three fights on the street in two days. This one cab driver got out of his cab just to cuss out some poor innocent pedestrian. Of course, after he jumped out that pedestrian wasn't very innocent. Hehe :)...

A few more things about the Big Apple...

They have the best food places up there. I mean, they have almost the same food places here, but amazingly the foods better there. It is also more expensive, (lets not get into that tho..) There is a street vendor on each street, some streets even have about four of them. They sell all kinds of good things from food to designer sunglasses (I got a pair of Baby Phax, not Baby Phat because that would imply that they are real).

OMG, there is this one store there called American Girl. If you've never heard of it please click this link. Those dolls are sooooo expensive! I mean you practically need to give them an arm and a leg for one. We( as in my little god sister and I) went in and she almost had a heart attack. It's like eight year old heaven! She ended up spending 300$ in there and all she got was a doll, two outfits and a pair of slippers for it. Did I forget to mention the doll has real human hair? Well it does! And they had this whole little salon for the dolls where they charged like 20$ just to brush the hair. Even though Destiny (god sister) got a doll, I left empty handed. Not like I minded or anything..sniffle sniffle... Well, I kinda did. I mean I wasn't mad I didn't get a doll, because I really didn't want one I was just upset she got to spend 300$ and I didn't.

I did get to go to Build A Bear later though. I'm almost 16 but I did enjoy picking out the outfits for my little Jasper...Yep, that's his name.

Okay, I think I'm pretty much done for now. I'll try yo get on later this week and post more about my trip.

Editing with a capital E!!!

You know what sucks: I mean it sucks so hard its lips are permanently frozen?

Editing!

I think editing is actually harder than writing the dang story. After I finished my novel "Khaos" I was so ecstatic, I thought the editing process would take me a total of about two weeks. Well, lets just say it's been two weeks past that deadline and I'm still not done! I think I'm going to rip out my hair trying to master that stupid thing. But I'm not gonna quit, I'm not. I've decided to enter it into a few writers contest, just to see how it'll do. I'd hate to sound demeaning on my own work, but I'd rather not win anything for the moment, I just want critique.....

Well off to that Editing process.

GUESS WHAT!!!

GUESS WHAT!!

I'M DONE

I'm done with what, you may ask...I"m done with my story. "Khaos" is officially done!

The Best in the Business

Well, like I said in the blog post right under this one, I'm home sick from school and I'm bored. So...until my mother wakes up from her nap I'm just gonna use the computer, something I'm not allowed to do. Ever since I broke my laptop after having it for a month I havent had computer privileges. It sucks butt to have to write a complete story by hand, but hey, thats how they did it back in the day.

Okay, on to the headliner....

Have you ever heard of Kerli? Well if you havent you dont know what you're missing. Kerli is from an Estonian town with a population of 5,000 people. 5,000! She was born 1987 and always dreamed of becoming a pop star. She went on the win some competitions and eventually got a record deal.

Her music is so awesome! It's not like all the crappy music here where you listen to the artist and know" Yep, he's high", or " Yeah, she's sad right now", you have to actually listen to it to get her. I've listened to the same song millions of times and I still dont get her. Dont get me wrong, you can still be an idiot and enjoy her music, but it's just better for me to have music with meaning.

Her album is called "Love is Dead" and I must say every song on the album is gold. You may have seen one of her videos on MTV, it was called "Walking on Air"...Really great song, but not my favorite. You don't have to listen to me, but I think you should listen, or even buy her album..

Day Off

Today was my lucky day!!!

My mom let me miss school because I had a *cough* *couch* stomach ache. I'm writing and listening to music, hoping for some inspiration. The one thing I hate about missing school is no one's around for me to talk to about my ideas. I know it's really stupid to have to talk about things before I write them, but sadly it's true: I work better after I've said things out loud...

A Writers worst nightmare

I have had a major headache for the last two weeks.

So many bad things have been happening to me I feel not only physically exhausted but mentally too. I'm so upset it's interfering with my writing, which doesnt happen often but when it does it sucks.

Firstly my computer stopped working. My dad bought me a laptop for x-mas in 2008 and already it's broken. One day I was running late to catch the bus and forgot to put it up. Of course my little five year old sister didn't have to go to school that day and was so bored decided to go in and scratch up the screen. I couldn't even blame her for it because I'm the one who forgot to put it up. But believe me I felt like screaming.

Secondly, I lost my notebook. So not only have I lost all the stories I've written that were saved on my computer but I've lost all the information and character profiles. I feel like an idiot, I cant believe I didnt save anything to my flash drive..

Last, I've been missing school so much lately that I'm falling behind. My last science test I got a freaking D! A D for Pete's sake! I also missed a Civics test which I had to make up. Luckily I can crame really fast so I happened to pass that one with a 96. Oh how I love photographic memory!

Well, I think I'll go lie under the blankets in the dark and wollow in self pity for another day. I've replaced three chapters worth of writing in a week so I think I deserve a break, atleast for today....

Writing

So I've joined this Book In A Month club and it's pretty cool. The members consist of my best friend Celestine Lockhart (her alias in case you'd like to look her up) my self and my computer. So far I've completed four days of the writing and it's going along fine.

My story is called "Khaos", and I really cant wait for it to be done. I've already planned the sequel (I really want a saga) and its so good. Would it be conceited if I said I loved the story with all my heart?

I hope I can find an agent to get my things published, I'm working on a lot of things, but agents don't really like working kids who are only 15, so I'm going to have to look hard.
